How many decimals should I publish?

Why does the plat show a different acreage?
A recorded plat states the surveyed area, which follows the true boundary including curves and jogs. A frontage × depth estimate treats the lot as a rectangle and will be off by a few percent.
What about square meters and hectares?
One acre is 4,046.86 square meters, or 0.4047 hectares. One square foot is 0.0929 square meters. US plats and deeds use acres and square feet.
